Unplanned Prints
Printmaking, 2018
This series of prints diverges from traditional design approaches by embracing spontaneity and the unknown. Unlike my usual structured creative processes, this project invited me to gather several elements—geometric forms and nature-inspired shapes—and then begin silkscreening without a clear vision of the final outcome. I intentionally avoided planning the composition, allowing each layer and element to evolve organically.
As a designer accustomed to control, this process tested my instincts and ultimately became a freeing experience. There were no predetermined limits on the number of elements, the degree of uniformity across prints, or the color palette. Each composition unfolded naturally, leading to results that were unexpected and liberating in their imperfection and fluidity.
