Easense Branding Mockups, Fall 2022
Easense
For this project, the goal was to spread awareness of sensory sensitivities. The definition of sensory sensitivity is an increased awareness of your surroundings, which can affect all the senses: sight, sound, taste, smell, and touch. Sensory sensitivities are commonly associated with autism spectrum disorder but people outside of the spectrum can also have sensory sensitivities. The response to these sensitivities can make someone feel anxious, nervous, overwhelmed, restless, and discomfort to name a few. Easense is a focused company that is dedicated to the well-being of those affected by everyday sensory sensitivities by creating a sense of comfort and calmness in a society where constant change can be overwhelming.

Sensory Sensitivity Stages
For this project, I focused on Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), addressing challenges in organizing and processing sensory stimuli. In the Easense project, sensory sensitivity denotes an intensified response to stimuli, often causing discomfort, distraction, or avoidance of specific sensory experiences. To highlight sensory sensitivity stages, I used color contrast variations. Maintaining a consistent composition illustrates that identical stimuli can affect individuals differently. The stages start with the Atypical Stage in black and white, then progress through Mild (orange), Moderate (yellow), and culminate in Severe (red).

Golf Guide
Golf Guide acts as a friendly guide to assist with your golfing experience. The current market targets primarily highly experienced golfers rather than beginners. As a kid, you are sent out on the course with a group of players and left to figure it out on your own. This solution never worked well nor encouraged a long-term commitment to learning golf. With Golf Guide, there’s convenience and clarity for amateur players that are still new to golf and desire to learn discreetly. Seeing that golf clubs are the top expense for beginners, Gold Guide makes sure all beginners understand how to use golf clubs.

Memory Recall
This poster series was developed after researching the question: Can color improve memory recall, and if so, which colors enhance recall the most?
After research, it was discovered that two colors that help enhance memory are red and blue. The series has a collection of images that are collaged is a way to appear as an individual’s timeline of memories, some fading while others enhanced with color. Below these illustrations are summaries of the research of the relationship between memory and color. Memory Recall was primarily created as a series for viewers to self-reflect on personal memories while still be informed in how color can enhance their memories.

Flourish
This project was a redesign for a selected wine company. The objective was to create a label series that extended from an existing brand while still keeping the spirit of the brand. To maintain the existing brand of Avaline, I used floral images, due to them using floral descriptions in products, and hand-embossing details to add to the organic and natural feel Avaline promotes their product as. The images use an illustration that allows the whole bottle to be part of the design.
